Quality Management
Quality Management is all about having effective formalized management systems in place to ensure that products and services are delivered to specification, on-time, and at the agreed cost. At the end of the day quality management is not rocket science, it is simply having simple and effective management practices in place – nothing more than that! The internationally recognised standard for quality management is ISO 9001.

There are also many other Quality Management Standards/Certifications that have been specifically developed for specific industries; i.e. Medical Device Manufacturing (ISO 13485), Aersopace (AS9100, AS9110, AS9120), Transit NZ Roading contractors (TQS-1). International Certifications offer assessment and certification to ISO 9001 plus all the specific industry standards.

We also offer assessment and certification to the user friendly alternative Quality Warranty Standard (logo shown below).

More detailed information can be found in the Quality Management Data Sheets (please select relevant standard):

Environmental Management
Environmental Management is all about having effective formalized management systems in place to control, minimize and monitor a company’s environmental impact. As well as doing the right thing by preventing pollution and caring for the environment companies will also be minimizing their risk of prosecution and increasing their green image to stakeholders and customers alike.
The most widely used and internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management is ISO 14001 but we also offer the new Eco Warranty Standard that many organizations are choosing to use due to its user friendly layout and easy to understand terminology.

More detailed information can be found in the Environmental Management Data Sheets (please select relevant standard):

Carbon Management (GHG Validation & Verification)
Carbon Management (GHG Validation & Verification) is all about having effective formalized management systems in place to measure, minimize and mitigate (optional) a company’s carbon footprint. Basically an organization calculates its carbon footprint, minimizes its carbon emissions where possible, and if it wishes to be Carbon Neutral it offsets the residual balance (one way to do this is to purchase credible carbon credits).
We have a three level Carbon Warranty verification program whereby an organization can have its GHG Emissions Inventory verified to the level that meets the requirements of the intended users. ISO 14064-1 is used as a baseline for compliance where a company simply measures and reports its GHG Emissions and has it verified by International Certifications, the next two levels require further actions to be taken to minimise the company’s environmental impact through GHG Emissions.
Level 1 – Carbon Measured (including ISO 14064-1)
Carbon Warranty level “Carbon Measured” including certification to ISO 14064-1 details principles and requirements for designing, developing, managing and reporting organization or company-level GHG inventories. It includes requirements for determining GHG emission boundaries, quantifying an organization’s GHG emissions and removals and identifying specific company actions or activities aimed at improving GHG management. It also includes requirements and guidance on inventory quality management, reporting, internal auditing and the organization’s responsibilities in verification activities. Basically it is simply measuring and reporting on the organizations carbon footprint. Once compliance has been achieved and verified with this level the organization receives two certifications (all 3 certification logos can be used as shown below).

Level 2 - Carbon Managed (including ISO 14064-1)
Carbon Warranty level “Carbon Managed” including certification to ISO 14064-1 basically requires an organization to meet the requirements as level 1 above but to also implement and maintain a GHG Emissions Management and Reduction Plan. Once compliance has been achieved and verified with this level the organization receives two certifications (all 3 certification logos can be used as shown below).

Level 3 - Carbon Neutral (including ISO 14064-1)
Carbon Warranty level “Carbon Neutral” including certification to ISO 14064-1 basically requires an organization to meet the requirements as level 1 and 2 above but to also offset the remaining GHG Emissions by purchasing credible carbon credits to enable the organization to become Carbon Neutral. Once compliance has been achieved and verified with this level the organization receives two certifications (all 3 certification logos can be used as shown below).

Good Manufacturing Practice – GMP
“Good manufacturing practice” or “GMP” is part of a quality system covering the manufacture and testing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, diagnostics, foods, pharmaceutical products, and medical devices. GMPs are guidelines that outline the aspects of production and testing that can impact the quality of a product. Many countries have legislated that pharmaceutical and medical device companies must follow GMP procedures, and have created their own GMP guidelines that correspond with their legislation.

Other good-practice systems, along the same lines as GMP, exist:
- Good laboratory practice (GLP), for laboratories conducting non-clinical studies (toxicology and pharmacology studies in animals);
- Good clinical practice (GCP), for hospitals and clinicians conducting clinical studies on new drugs in humans;
- Good regulatory practice (GRP), for the management of regulatory commitments, procedures and documentation.

Warranty Standards
International Certifications now own the Warranty Standards programs. These are user friendly alternative programs that are more suited to SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises) due to their cost effectiveness.
